Graduated in Dentistry from the State University of Campinas (1995), Master in Biology Dental Pathology from the State University of Campinas (1998), Doctorate in Dental Clinic from the State University of Campinas (1999) and Post-Doctorate from the University of Texas (2006). He is currently Associate Professor in the Area of Endodontics, State University of Campinas. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Endodontics. In research, he works mainly on the following topics: chemical auxiliary solutions, microbiology, restoration of endodontically treated teeth.
