Dr. Arden received his DDS in 2011 from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio,
followed by an AEGD at the James A. Lovell Health Care Center in Great Lakes, IL. He practiced as a
general dentist at the world’s most remote dental clinic, Diego Garcia, before spending three years as a
staff dentist at Naval Base San Diego. He obtained his certificate of endodontics in 2020 and Doctor of
Medical Science in Oral Biology in 2021 from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Currently, Dr.
Arden is the Head of Biomaterials and Maxillofacial Injury and Disease Departments in the Craniofacial
Health and Restorative Medicine Directorate at the Navy Medical Research Unit in San Antonio. As a
board-certified Endodontist, Dr Arden also staffs residents at the Air Force Postgraduate Dental School
and works part-time in private practice.
