Dr. Wang is a Clinical Associate Professor of Endodontics and assistant program director of Graduate Endodontics in Texas A&M University School of Dentistry. Prior to that, he completed an Endodontics Residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 2014 to 2016. He did his postdoctoral research on inflammatory bone disease at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center from 2007 to 2011. He was Research Assitant Professor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine from 2011 to 2014. His research interests include pulp and bone biology, autophagy, unfolded protein response, and regenerative endodontics. He has published more than 25 articles in high impact journals including the Journal of the American Dental Association (JADA), Hepatology, Journal of Hematology & Oncology. Dr. Wang has reviewed more than 100 manuscripts for Journal of Dental Research, Journal of Endodontics, and International Endodontic Journal. He has been serving on AAE Research and Scientific Affairs Committee since 2021. He was also appointed as a test constructor by the Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations (JCNDE). Dr. Wang is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He maitains private pratice in Dallas, TX and has been named Best Dentists in Endodontics by D Magazine in 2021 through 2024.
