Ken Hargreaves received his DDS from Georgetown University, his PhD in physiology from the Uniformed Services University, and his certificate in Endodontics from the University of Minnesota. He is professor of the Department of Endodontics and cross-appointed as professor in the Departments of Pharmacology, Surgery and Physiology at the University of Texas in San Antonio, maintains a private practice limited to endodontics and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontists. Ken has received an NIH MERIT Award for research, two IADR Distinguished Scientist Awards and the AAE Louis I. Grossman Award and President's Awards. Ken has published more than 250 articles, two textbooks and serves as editor of the Journal of Endodontics.
