Prof. Takashi Okiji is the Professor of Department of Pulp Biology & Endodontics, Graduate School of Medical & Dental Sciences, Tokyo Medical & Dental University (TMDU). He received his PhD from TMDU in 1988 and from Göteborg University in 1996. He started his professor position in Niigata University in 2001 and appointed to the current position in 2015. Prof. Okiji is a past President of the Japanese Society of Conservative Dentistry and a former Director of the Japan Endodontic Association. He serves as an editorial board member of the International Endodontic Journal and acts as a reviewer for a number of scientific journals. His research interest includes dental pulp repair/regeneration, endodontic biomaterials and NiTi rotary instrumentation.
