Dr. Mainkar is a board certified endodontist who graduated from the University of Connecticut’s endodontics program with a Certificate in Endodontics and a Master’s of Dental Sciences degree. Dr. Mainkar received a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the College of William and Mary. He completed his dental degree in 2016 at Columbia University, where he received the New York State Association of Endodontists Award for outstanding achievement in clinical endodontics. While completing his residency at UConn, Dr. Mainkar served as Chief Resident in his last year and conducted research with a focus on the newest technologies and techniques. Dr. Mainkar’s research efforts have resulted in five publications as well as presentations at the American Association of Endodontists’ and Connecticut Association of Endodontists’ meetings.
