As a general practician, I constantly. Looked for ways to preserve dentin during root canal treatments as vertical root fracture seems to be a phenomenon unique to root canal-treated teeth. This thesis project during my endodontic training at UBC allowed me to evaluate the outcome of minimally invasive endodontic treatments and address some of the shortcomings that some practitioners may consider limiting disinfecting minimally invasive endodontics.
