Dr. Dijana Elmejdoubi hails from war-torn landscapes of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dr. Elmejdoubi's journey is a testament to her resilience and determination.
In 2000, she represented Bosnia as an Olympic track and field athlete, showcasing extraordinary talent and dedication. Transitioning from athletics to academia, Dr. Elmejdoubi embarked on an impressive trajectory.
Her pursuit of excellence led her to the United States, where she received her bachelor’s degree in 2005 from the University of Southern Mississippi on full track scholarship. During this time, she majored in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, laying the foundation for her scientific endeavors. From 2009 to 2017, she served as a distinguished Pharmaceutical Quality Control Chemist, contributing significantly to the field. Dr. Elmejdoubi continued her academic pursuits, earning a Masters in Biomedical Sciences from CSU in 2016-2017. In 2018, she achieved a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado.
Currently, Dr. Elmejdoubi is undertaking an Endodontic MS program at LSU, showcasing her commitment by submitting her research work to AAE Annual conference meeting in hopes to further contribute to our great organization. Dr. Elmejdoubi is also an active resident seat on Membership Engagement Committee and serving AAE in that capacity as well.
