Vital pulp therapy for the pediatric population presents unique challenges to the endodontic and pediatric provider. Behavior management, incomplete root formation, and restorability are among the most common concerns. Collaboration is key to rendering effective endodontic care to children. In this case-based presentation, clinical scenarios will be evaluated from the perspective of the endodontist and pediatric dentist. Based on clinical guidelines and the latest literature, a set of principles will be presented to aid providers in making practical treatment decisions.
