Based on current evidence, the outcomes of root canal therapy are as much influenced by the work of the endodontist as it is by the ensuing restoration process. In order to preserve the effort of the endodontist, it is highly advisable to achieve long-lasting hermetic closure of the root canal space before the patient leaves the endodontist’s surgery. While there exist both endodontic and restoration protocols, the importance of flawless post-endodontic build-up remains undervalued. The author presents an advanced clinical protocol of immediate adhesive post-endodontic treatment based on 16 years of clinical cooperation between endodontist and prosthodontist. Various situations and protocols will be presented and trained. From minimally invasive access cavity closure, via fiber-post implementation to complex endorestorations requiring various resin composites to reinforce residual tissue and securely seal the roost space.
The below prerequisites outline the basic skills/knowledge required to successfully participate in this workshop:
Participant has basic knowledge of adhesive procedures (resin composite to dentin)
Participant will attend/watch a recording of pre-onsite instruction webinar (details to be shared via email) "Endorestoration - State of the Art Workshop"
