Emily J. Bishop, D.D.S.

Dr. Emily Bishop is currently in her final year of the Endodontic residency program at the University of Toronto. Previously, she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie University in 2019. Emily is a member of The Kishen Lab (Dental Research Institute, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto) who’s members have previously synthesized and characterized rose bengal - functionalized chitosan nanoparticles and studied their application in endodontics. Emily’s research project expands on this foundation with the hope to advance therapeutic protocols following dental traumatic injuries.
