Dr. Ronald Taylor is the founder of RCT Endodontics and co-founder of Trident ENDO. Still today, he
prides himself on helping his patients save their teeth painlessly.
Dr. Taylor has been appointed by the American Board of Endodontics College of
Diplomates to serve as a mentor to board-eligible endodontists. He currently serves
on the board of directors for the College of Diplomates.
In addition, he has served as an associate professor at Howard University College of
Dentistry and as an appointed member of the Dean’s Faculty as a clinical assistant
professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. He has
been a mock board examiner for endodontic residents in the United States Navy
PostGraduate Endodontic Residency Program, the Medical College of Virginia, Boston
University and the University of Maryland.
Dr. Taylor is an alumnus of the Pankey Institute and he continues his study at the
with the Edward C. Penick Endodontic Study Club, where he previously served as
president.
Dr. Taylor is proud to be a specialist member of the American Association of
Endodontists. He was also selected to Washingtonian Magazine's List of Top Dentists
consistently for several years.
Committed to giving back to the communities that RCT Endodontics service, Dr.
Taylor founded the Trident Save-a-Smile Foundation.
When he isn’t saving patients from pain -- Dr. Taylor enjoys sporting events, traveling,
listening to soca music or deep-sea fishing. Dr. Taylor is married to his lovely wife,
Chalissa, and is the proud father of two beautiful children, Kayla and Evan.
Fun fact about Dr. Taylor: he used to be a drummer and still considers drumming to be his
first true love.
