Yandy Gonzalez Marrero is a second year resident at Rutgers School of
Dental Medicine. He attended the University of South Florida for his BS and the University of Florida for dental school. Yandy Gonzalez graduated with High Research Honors from the University of Florida and served for a 2 year term as Councilor of the American Academy of Dental Research/ National Student Research Group. Currently, he works in Dr. Shimizu's laboratory at Rutgers focusing on diabetes mellitus.
