Dr. Ana Andrada was born and raised in Brazil where she earned her first dental degree and a certificate in Endodontics, from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil. She continued her education at Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM) graduating with a certificate in Endodontics in 2015 and a Doctor of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology, 2016.
In 2018, Dr. Andrada earned a U.S. DDS from University of Detroit Mercy and was appointed as a full-time Endodontic professor teaching pre-doctoral students and Endodontic residents. She has achieved the status of Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics in 2019 and has published several papers in peer review journals.
Dr. Andrada joined the VCU endodontic department in July 2021 as an associate professor and Director of Pre-Doctoral Endodontics. She received the American Association of Endodontics Educator Fellowship Award which highlights the critical role educators play in the future of Endodontics.
