Dr. Franklin Tay is chairman and professor in the Department of Endodontics, The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Tay is a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. He serves as Associate Editors for the Journal of Endodontics and Journal of Dentistry. His research interests include collagen biomineralization, remineralization of resin-dentin bonds, antimicrobial sol-gel chemistry, mesoporous silica and endodontic materials. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Dental Materials and has published more than 600 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
