Tiffany Tavares is a clinical assistant professor of Oral Medicine in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry of the University of Texas Health San Antonio (UTHSA). Dr. Tavares received her dental degree from Universidade Federal Fluminense in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and later completed an Oral Medicine residency program and received a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine/Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Tavares is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Medicine and greatly involved in the activities of American Academy of Oral Medicine.
