Dr. Christine Peters is a Senior Lecturer in Endodontics at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry. Dr. Peters received her degree in dentistry from the University of Heidelberg, Germany in 1992 and held a position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry from 1992 till 1996. From 1997 till 2004, Dr. Peters worked as Assistant Professor in the Division of Endodontics at University of Zurich, Dental school, where she completed her postgraduate endodontic training in 2001.
Starting in 2001, Christine worked at the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco, from 2012 on as Professor of Endodontology.
In 2020, Christine moved to Brisbane, Australia, and accepted a position as Senior Lecturer at The University of Queensland School of Dentistry.
Christine Peters teaches and lectures in the undergraduate and postgraduate endodontic field, provides continuing education courses and maintains her registration, practicing as an endodontic specialist. Her research includes dental materials testing in the field of endodontics, treatment outcomes and clinical studies on treatment methodologies in endodontics.
Dr. Peters has published in textbooks and peer-reviewed journals and lectured both nationally and internationally. She serves on the review panel of several endodontic journals, including the Journal of Endodontics and the International Endodontic Journal. Christine is a member of OKU, past president of the Northern California Academy of Endodontics and treasurer of the Queensland branch of the Australian Society of Endodontology.
