Researcher/ Lecturer
King Saud University, Saudi Arabia
I work mainly in the field of stem cell, regenerative medicine, tissue engineering and nano-science.
- My work is focused on Molecular Signature & Functional Studies that Identify Novel Regulators of Fate Determination & Differentiation in Human Skeletal (Mesenchymal) Stem Cells and Pluripotent Stem cells.
- I am studying derivation, characterization, and differentiation of human, mouse and camel pluripotent stem cells including embryonic stem cells (ESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), and bone marrow- and adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells and studying the effect of genetic manipulation or exogenous factors affecting their differentiation potentials, in addition to human and mice oocyte micromanipulation including intracytoblasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT).
- Teaching and training for postgraduate students and medical under-graduate students.
- Teaching Embryology and Anatomy for Medical Student at College of Medicine.
