Dr. Ibrahim Sevki Bayrakdar was born on 13.09.1988 in Erzurum and completed his undergraduate and doctoral education at Atatürk University. He became a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in 2015. In 2016, he started his academic career as a faculty at Eskişehir Osmangazi University (ESOGU) School of Dentistry. Dr. Bayrakdar received the title of Associate Professor in 2019 and is still working at the same university. He established a dental Artificial Intelligence Laboratory in the ESOGU School of Dentistry in 2020 and has focused on artificial intelligence research in dentistry. Also, Dr. Bayrakdar conducted research in the field of artificial intelligence at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry between 2022 and 2023. He has more than 100 articles, 67 of which are international. Bayrakdar is the Deputy Director of ESOGU Computer-Aided Diagnosis and Treatment Application and an active member of the Turkish Association of Oral Diagnosis and Maxillofacial Radiology, the European Academy of Dento-Maxillofacial Radiology, International Association of Dento-Maxillofacial Radiology. In addition, CranioCatch Inc. develops artificial intelligence technologies in dentistry within ESOGU Technopolis. He is the founder and chairman of the board of the company.
