Frederica Mackert, D.D.S., M.S.D.

Assistant Professor
Virginia Commonwealth University

Dr. Frederica Mackert is an Assistant Professor at the VCU School of Dentistry. She has a demonstrated history of working in community health and is passionate about promoting access to healthcare and mentoring students.

Dr. Mackert attended the University of Washington, where she was a member of the Husky Marching Band as a piccolo player and went on to obtain her DDS from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. She then completed her AEGD Residency through NYU Langone Dental Medicine based at HealthPoint CHC. After completing her residency program, she provided care as a dental provider at HealthPoint CHC and became an Affiliate Faculty for the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health and NYU Langone Dental Medicine AEGD Residency Program and went on to receive a Master of Health Administration from Cornell University. Dr. Mackert is highly motivated with a strong interest in increasing oral healthcare equity, while keeping up to date with dental educational practices. Dr. Mackert maintains a dental practice in VCU Faculty Practice.
