Dr. Ammar Al Mahdi is a board-certified orthodontist, a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the college of diplomats, and a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Society, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. He has participated and published articles in the most respected journals of orthodontics and holds a patent on a device to upright impacted lower second molars. He is a proud graduate of one of the most prestigious orthodontic programs, The Ohio State University, where he earned his certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. Dr. Ammar also earned a certificate in craniofacial anomalies treatment and his master’s degree.
