Pilar Rubi was a research assistant with the Gibbs Lab at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. The projects Pilar worked on focused on understanding pain and endodontic disease, connecting predictors of severe and persistent pain following chairside endodontic treatment to the neurobiological mechanisms of orofacial pain with an emphasis on nociceptors and peripheral neurons, and their contribution to pain.
