Jia Huang is a Ph.D. candidate in Oral Biology at Rutgers School of Graduate Studies. She earned her Master of Science in Dentistry from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2023, conducting research on the effects of the HDAC inhibitor Nexturastat A on dental pulp cells and macrophages under inflammatory conditions. Her thesis, supervised by Prof. Emi Shimizu, delves into the molecular mechanisms by which HDAC inhibitors alleviate inflammation in dental pulp cells and macrophages.
