Dr. Shatha Zahran is an Assistant Professor at the department of endodontic, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah. Dr. Zahran has dedicated her career to both academic and clinical pursuits. Dr. Zahran has gained her Clinical certificate in endodontics and Master of Science degree in dentistry from Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, University of The Pacific, San Francisco in 2017. She is a Fellowship member of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Endodontics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics in 2019. In 2021, she completed her Ph.D. in Clinical dentistry and infection from King’s College London, UK. Her doctoral thesis focused on implementing an enhanced infection control protocol during the root canal treatment, and the use of advanced sequencing molecular methods in endodontic microbiology.
